Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) 输入插件

此插件收集由使用 数据平面开发工具包 (Data Plane Development Kit) 构建的应用程序公开的指标,这是一个用于加速数据包处理工作负载的广泛开源库。

由于 DPDK 很可能以 root 权限运行,DPDK 公开的遥测套接字也将需要 root 访问权限。请相应地调整权限!

此插件使用 v2 接口读取应用程序的遥测数据,并需要 DPDK 版本 v20.05 或更高版本。某些指标可能需要更高版本。推荐版本,特别是结合 in_memory 选项时,是 DPDK 21.11.2 或更高版本。

示例:NIC 指标的最小配置

根据底层实现检查链路状态可能需要更长的时间。此配置可用于排除此遥测命令,以便更快地响应指标。

additional_commands 中指定的命令条目应符合 DPDK 命令格式

  • 命令条目格式:对于需要参数的命令,可以是 commandcommand,params,其中逗号 (,) 分隔命令和参数。
  • 命令条目长度(带参数的命令)应为 < 1024 字符。
  • 命令长度(不带参数)应为 < 56 字符。
  • 命令必须以 / 开头。

提供无效命令将阻止插件启动。附加命令允许重复,但在执行期间会被删除,因此每个命令在每个指标收集间隔期间只会执行一次。

示例:从同一主机上的多个 DPDK 实例获取指标

此配置允许从通过独立套接字公开其遥测接口的两个独立应用程序获取指标。对于每个插件实例,唯一的标签 [inputs.dpdk.tags] 允许区分它们。

这利用了 Telegraf 添加自定义标签到输入插件度量的标准功能。

Metrics

DPDK 套接字接受 command,params 请求,并以 JSON 格式返回指标数据。来自 DPDK 套接字的所有指标都使用 Telegraf 的 JSON Flattener 进行展平,并作为字段公开。如果 DPDK 响应不包含任何信息(为空或为 null),则该响应将被丢弃。

注意: 由于 DPDK 允许在其遥测框架中注册自定义指标,因此 DPDK 的 JSON 响应可能包含各种指标集。虽然来自 /ethdev/stats 的指标应该最稳定,但 /ethdev/xstats 可能包含特定于驱动程序的指标(取决于 DPDK 应用程序配置)。像 /l3fwd-power/stats 这样的特定于应用程序的命令可以返回其自身的特定指标集。
